He began his career at the BBC in 1998 where he wrote and directed TV trails, promos and branding films across all BBC channels. He collected 14 Promax awards including seven Golds in the UK and Europe and a platinum award from the USA.

In 2002 he left to form the directing duo ‘Albert’. The duo shot commercials and idents for Ford, Nissan, Wickes, Heinz, Burger King and many others. They collected silver lions from Cannes, silver arrows from BTA and made an appearance in the D&AD book for their Sopranos promo for A&E USA.

Clients included AMV, BBH, Crispin Porter, Grey, Leo Burnett, Publicis and TBWA.

In 2015 Albert amicably parted company and Barry now works independently.

Clients have included We Are Pi, 101, Stack, Red Brick Road, Saatchi & Saatchi, The Leith, Karmarama and Ogilvy.
