Alfredo Altamirano is a French/Mexican Director of photography. He lives and works between Paris and Mexico City.
Throughout his career he has worked in several projects around the world.
Two feature films in Argentina, one in France, one in the Balkans, and two in Mexico.
He has shot more than 50 commercials for brands like Louis Vuitton, Etam, Lacoste, Dodge, Chrysler, Ford, AT&T, Intel, Visa, HSBC, Citibank, Coca-Cola, Sprite, Corona, Yoplait, Vitamin Water, Pepsi, 7up, Nestlé, Danone, Gerber, Huggies, Wal-Mart.
His films have been selected in festivals like Cannes (Semaine de la Critique), Berlin, and most recently in the Sundance film festival with “This is not Berlin” by Hari Sama.
He has taught cinematography in the national film school in Mexico.
Alfredo has been a member of the Mexican Society of Cinematographers (AMC) for 5 years.
