René studied in the Filmacademy Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg (Germany) Camera and Directing for film. He finished his Diploma in 1994.
He worked as a Camera assistant for commercials and documentaries in Germany, Switzerland and Japan.
Since 1997 he is working as Director of Photography for Commercials and Films
