Floris Ramaekers moved to London from the Netherlands in 2010 in pursuit of a career in film making. Since then, he has become an award winning director creating content that ranges from feature film to commercials and branded content. With a technical background in post production and VFX, Floris aims to combine his highly cinematic sensibilities with practical skill.
His first feature film, Sleeping Dogs, was made independently on a shoestring budget and after a premiere at Raindance, went on to garner 7 nominations in the international film community including at the Moet BIFAs.
The Sleeping Dogs trailer rose to #2 in the Indie Boogie charts and came in at #6 on the iTunes “Recent Discoveries” chart upon release.
Floris is currently developing his second feature film, Persona, with award winning producer Bennett McGhee and Silvertown Films.
